Advantages of Cagayan

The Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP) is located in the northeastern Philippines, surrounded by the Babuyan Channel, the South China Sea, and the Pacific Ocean. It includes Ana City and the municipalities of Aparri, covering approximately 54,118.95 square kilometers of urban and agricultural land.

Established under Republic Act No. 7922, the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) manages the CSEZFP, which is the only region in Southeast Asia with gambling regulations enacted by Congress. This provides significant regulatory advantages. CSEZFP aims to become a major trade hub in the Asia-Pacific, similar to Hong Kong and Singapore, and is focused on attracting business investment and tourism.

In Cagayan, online gambling regulations are set by Congress, ensuring stability and independence from political changes. In contrast, online gambling in Cambodia and Metro Manila can be influenced by presidential decisions, leading to potential uncertainties in operations.
