Santa Ana, officially the Municipality of Santa Ana, is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Cagayan, Philippines. The total surface area of Santa Ana is around 44,130 hectares, and covers almost 4.90% of the total area of Cagayan province. Santa Ana is politically subdivided into 16 barangays, and according to the census, it has a population of nearly 35,000 people. It draws people in with its most natural white-sand beach, just like Boracay, Aklan. Also, Palaui Island, under San Vicente barangay, the beach there is ranked as top 10 from other 100 best beaches in the world by CNN.
